Nathan had his first experience with a tomato . . . the jury is still out. I really want Nathan to not be a finicky eater and it is important to me that healthy eating habits start early for him. So while he is of course being breastfed and that is most imortant, I am having fun letting him explore with fruits and veggies! So far Nathan loves bananas and carrots. He HATES peas. He still doessn't seem quite sure about fresh pineapple or grapes and I'll let you be the judge of the tomatoes.

Thursday nights have always been a favorite of ours and walking around with great friends only makes it better!! I have so enjoyed sharing motherhood with my friends. All the joys and scares are so worth it and it is so fun to not go at it alone. I have also loved watching Nathan explore his relationships with others. It is so evident he now recognizes his friends Cameron and Hunter. I admit we do have to work on the sharing though :-)

We hit Morro Bay the other day for lunch, but Nathan didn't quite last through all of lunch. He was very excited to see the pigeons and seagulls walking around the tables. At lunch he really enjoyed sucking on mom's straw and it was all very exciting and fun . . . until it hit the floor!

This weekend was so amazing for us! We had so much fun visiting with awesome friends that really know us and love us. It was so fun to spend time with Doug, Julie, Renee, Wade, Krisitin, Ken, Skye, Kristin, and Travis. It was a wonderful feeling to feel so loved and cared about. Nathan and I are blessed to have all of them in our lives.

Nathan's First Plane Ride!

Nathan did just amazing on this trip. He slept half the flight on the way over and played the rest of the way. He was a busy body for our flight home, but so adorable. The flight attendant just couldn't get enough of him. Can you blame her? I can't wait for our next trip.

Georgetown University

Nathan and I just returned from our trip to Washington D.C with my Mom (a.k.a. Grandma). Although it was freezing cold while we were there, it was a great trip and it was just amazing to visit with Neil and stay in his home. We were so pampered there that it was hard to come back home. Back home=Back to reality.

For our last day in D.C. we visited Georgetown. It was the most amazing place! The university was just beautiful, but the downtown was fantastic. We stopped by Georgetown Cupcakes and then had lunch at Clydes. It was a beautiful sunny day finally and a nice way to end our trip.
